JW Marriott vs. Westin Kierland

Have reservations for both JW Marriott Desert Ridge and Westin Kierland spring break-they both sound great for our family. Anyone ever stayed-and what was your experience with either of these resorts? Thanks!

I guess since I don't recognize either of these names, I wouldn't be able to help anyway, but it sure would be nice if posters would list a city or at least a state when they post questions.

both hotels are probably equal (i dont know if westin can match the description of the marriott pools). The immediate shopping area of the Westin is nicer than the desert ridge area -if that isimportant.

We stayed at the Kierland last summer. It was wonderful, with 3 great pools including a lazy river, a family pool & one for adults only. The nearby shops & restaurants were very upscale and elegant.
