Jupiter area

Hi-my husband and I have an opportunity to go to Jupiter mid-November and are looking for suggestions of places to visit, good casual restaurants, golf courses--we're open to any suggestions. We don't mind driving a couple of hours in any direction. Thanks in advance.

no resturants or golf-courses
but I heard EUROPA may harbor carbon based organisms. I hear the big red spot is lovely this time of year.

a nice side trip to GANYMEDE might also be nice

There used to be a TooJay's deli in Jupiter. Don't know if it's there any longer. If not, try Palm Beach Gardens (Loehmann's Plaza).

Good food, casual (I worked there many years ago).

Too Jays is still there- ask someone and they will be happy to point it out to you (I think it's on Dixie Highway or U.S. 1). The "killer cake" is to die for (but only for serious chocoholics).

Try visiting West Palm Beach's "Clematis Street" in the evening. It's full of restaurants, bars, etc. and there is an ice cream shop at the end of the road which is so bizarre it's wonderful. I'm sorry - but I don't remember the name of it.

Also in West Palm Beach is an area known as "City Place" which has a collection of shops and restaurants. A lot are chains. Be sure to actually go over to Palm Beach (the island) for people gazing and drooling over houses).

There is an Italian restaurant in Jupiter, called Giuseppe's
(561) 743-2330 Address:
6390 W Indiantown Rd
Jupiter, FL 33458

that if you are a fan of blue cheese, has a wonderful dish called (I believe) Chicken Gorgonzola Rollatini or something. It's wonderful, but all the food there is very good.

CR CHICKS
2582 PGA BLVD, PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL 33410, (561) 626-9868 also has wonderful sandwich/soup combos for lunch. They have the most amazing cream of mushroom soup I've ever tasted. Very casual.
