July lodging in Grand Canyon

First timer to Grand Canyon. Visiting in this July. Need help to pick lodging. Only Maswik, Bright Angel and Yavapai available. Prefer Bright Angel's location but is it ok without air con in July Grand Canyon?

We did not have a problem. Cools down at night, and there are great big windows in the cabins that let in air. But location of the others is fine - only a very short walking distance between. Bright Angeljust feels more authentic.

Don't worry about the A/C. Pick the place closest to the rim. Bright Angel was very comfy.

Taking my mother the end of June and I had booked a room at Maswick. I've been checking the website frequently and about a week ago a room with 2 queens opened up at El Tovar. She's a little slower on stairs but I think she would enjoy the location much more. Keep checking - seems like availability changes every day. Good luck!!!
