They will announce the verdict in a few minutes. Travel related? Yes, don't go to Santa Maria in the next few hours!

The verdict is supposed to be read at 4:30 EST.

I was following a msn link and there's a banner at the top of the page that a DC-E plane crashed in Ft. Lauderdale. Send out your prayers to the travelers.

I am not shocked as I was when OJ walked free. Just sad.

Love him or hate him, Geraldo called it exactly right, months ago. He said Jackson would never be convicted under our system, with these charges, not necessarily because he was innocent, but because of the way Sneddon went about it! Give him a gold star...

If the truth were known, Jackson's lawyers probably never expected a conviction, and possibly the DA didn't either. The lawyers got a ton of money and the DA got lots of publicity, although not all good.
