Interval International Destination Spot

We have to use a week of our timeshare this year. We live in southwestern Ontario and would like to drive to our destination - up to 12-14 hr. drive. Any suggestions where we could stay for a week and have enough to do? We like shopping in unique places, wine, scenic drives, etc. It would be in October so swimming isn't an issue. Any suggestions? Thx.

I think your best bet is to go on their site www.intervalworld.com and do a search by region, that way you see what is available (you also plug your days in) and it will show you who has avilability.

You can go to Timeshare Users Group (TUG)BBS @ www.tugbbs.com/forums or Timeshare Forums @ www.timeshareforums.com and ask people who know timeshares around the world.

We've traded this year to go to Williamsburg VA. It's the 400th anniversary of the Jamestown settlement. It understand there are good restaurants, shops and many historical venues to see. Busch Gardens is there too. You would have scenic drives from Ontario with the drive through the Smokey Mtns. You could also do a day trip to the shore. We're history buffs so it was a no-brainer for us. But Interval has many, many choices for trade. Good Luck

Williamsburg would be fun.

You could also do Hilton Head, Myrtle or Virginia Beach, Newport RI, Gatlinburg.

would there be much difference weather-wise between Williamsburg and Myrtle Beach in October? What kind of weather can we expect? What coastal destination would be good for a day trip from Williamsburg? Thanks for responses so far - never thought of Williamsburg.
