I used inter-american in April at Fort Lauderdale airport. Great rate $114 a week no mileage for a Daewoo. They have a shuttle that picks up, it was actually more frequent than some of the major car companies.(I watched at curb while husband got bags.)Make sure you bring proof of insurance if you are denying extra coverage as this is required.I brought first page of my policy. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I agree, the deals that InterAmerican offered seemed a bit too good to be true but I was very pleased with this company.
I rented a car from the Ft. Lauderdale location. The best autos in the lot seemed to be on the Mustangs (fine with me!)
If you make an online reservation you can usually save an additional 10%
Read the fine print on their "unlimited mileage" Use of InterAmerican's automobiles is restricted to the state of Florida and they charge a ridiculous fee if the cars are driven outside of the state.
My main complaint is that I could not drop the car off at the airport so pay attention on the shuttle bus. You'll need the directions for the return trip.
