Inn of Rosslyn-??
Hi,
A friend and I are traveling MLK Jr. weekend to Washington DC. Inn of Rosslyn is offering a really low rate - low enough that I'm concerned. Has anyone stayed there? Is it a good location? Your help is a greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about this one in Arlington, VA? Here are the reviews:

I've never stayed there as I live in the area, but I know it's got a good location. It's right off of Route 50-Arlington Blvd--the main road from Arlington to D.C. It's an easy drive to D.C. (not that I would recommend driving in D.C.--taking Metro is better) and it's not far to National Airport if you are flying into town.
Rosslyn is mainly a business area, but you will find lots of restaurants there. The Rosslyn Metro stop is located there so you can easily get into D.C. You could also walk across Key Bridge into Georgetown if you don't mind walking a bit from your hotel.

You have to decide about how you feel about the accommodations, but the location is actually pretty good if you don't mind a little walk to the Metro. The neighborhood is very safe--think $400,000 1/BR condos--and there are places to eat nearby.

Doesn't look like that great a location to me. That's closer to the old South Arlington neighborhoods (tho I know it is north) than to the more modern Rosslyn area. Wouldn't want to walk from there to the Metro station in the middle of January. Probably there is a bus to Rosslyn metro or directly into the city, but I would check first.
