Be patient. If anyone has info, they will post it on the Europe Board. It's been less than 3 hours since you posted the original message. Heaviest traffic time on the boards is evenings so you should hear if anyone has info by this evening.

Rosemary1 - Please don't be so snippy with helpful posters like carrolldf. The advice you received is absolutely correct. Plus, in my experience here, the Europe board is way busier than the US board.

But in any event, the boards are separated out for a reason, so deliberately posting Europe topics on the US board totally messes with the system.

And really, 3 hours wait is nothing. There is most likely at least one person out there who can help you, but they may not be online right now. Give it till tomorrow, and if still no response, top your post over there so more people will see it.

Finally - If you're really desparate for instant answers, do a search. The search box is at the top of the page (go to europe forum first, though). Search for "thistle marble arch". I know I've seen it come up before, and a quick search turned up several posts just on the first page.

Another reason you're not getting response on the Europe board is that your message is now #97. Sometimes people don't scroll back so far to read the messages. All you need to do is top it every now and then. I'll top it for you.

Also, as jenifer suggests, try searching it on Europe board. I typed it in and saw a few references, though they were almost 1 yr old.

No, Rosemary, I don't work for Fodor's. I wish though. That would be a great job. To get paid to read messages here which I do anyway. Hmmmmm.....maybe, I'll see if they'd like to pay me for it.

No offense taken....hoping none was taken at my message. Sometimes people answer immediately but often (when I'm most anxious for a reply) they don't. And usually, the Europe board is busier. Occasionally, there may be more traffic on US but generally, the people who have answers on Europe questions are over there. A few of us read and post both.

We stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch in November and it was just fine in every way.
