inexpensive spa vacation?
I live in NYC, would love to take my grown daughter to a spa for a few days in Feb.
Any suggestions? A place we can drive to would be least expensive unless someone knows of a destination that has enough travel to also have inexpensive fares.

goldie - The thread you posted on this a few days ago is not gone, and it has 5 responses for you. This is a very active board, and only the first 50 posts show up on the main screen. But if you click your name (at the top of the page) you will see all the threads you have ever posted to, including your previous spa question.

Here are the answers you got on your other thread

I think the closest spa to NYC is the one in Connecticut. There are also some in Penn. In Feb. I'd spring for somewhere warm though. There are some spas in Mexico that are very affordable but not very luxurious and it may be further than you'd care to go for just a few days.
In addition to looking on spafinder.com, you should do a text search here for spas.

PS, don't know what sort of spa experience you're looking for, but many of the better hotels in the city have nice spas. It could be cheaper in the long run to just check yourselves into a NYC hotel and just pamper for a few days.
