If I could build a house anywhere in the world it would be at the top of Signal Mountain in the Tetons.

Nope, can't do it in just 5 words.

The mountains and the western shore of Oahu from the top of Kole-Kole Pass.

The Kenai Peninsula from the Seward Hwy along Turnagain Arm.

75 miles of the Continental Divide across a 1500 foot deep canyon from my front deck when we lived in Colorado.

The Chief Joseph Trail and Beartooth mountains from the summit at Dead Indian Point n/w of Cody, WY.

The south shore of Oahu and Diamond Head approaching from the southeast in the air or on the water.

The lagoon at Wake Island.

Lake Couer d'Alene looking from any of a number of overlooks in the hills surrounding it.

Any of half a dozen bays at Kodiak Island.

The view of Homer,Kachamak Bay, and the southern end of the Kenai Peninsula from the Sterling Highway on the approach into Homer.

And, I'm guessing, some I haven't seen yet but will sooner or later.

Gazing at my husband as I married him. Staring at my babies after I gave birth. Right here in Carmel, at sunset. All heaven on earth.
