Hi Everyone! I've listened to the advice on threads about the Oregon Coast and I've tried to book two nights at TuTuTun in Gold Beach in August. I am currently on the waiting list keeping my fingers crossed - but searching for an alternate just in case.

Has anyone stayed at the Inn at Nesika Beach or the Rogue Reef Inn recently? Any other thoughts?

Hopefully, something will open up at Tu Tu Tun--it's really a special place. In the meantime, though, look into WildSpring in Port Orford. I'm going there next week and can't wait--I've heard great things about it. It got 4 stars in the latest edition of NW Best Places that just came out--and they don't hand out 4 stars easily.

Thanks I'll check it out. I'll have to check how far Port Orford is from Gold Beach since we'll be coming up from Redwood Country, arriving early evening, then doing the Rogue River Jet Boat (long trip is a must from the postings I've read) and then want a spot close by for the second night as well.

Perhaps you know the approximate distance from PO to GB. Thanks.

According to the WildSpring website, Gold Beach is a half hour south of Port Orford, which sounds about right to me.

Perhaps you can update when you get back. I'd sure appreciate it! Their website is beautiful! If that is any indication. I'll have to check their cancellation too just in case the TuTuTun opens up for us.

Any info on Endicott Gardens in Gold Beach or should I post a separate thread?
