The pics were lovely, but where were the ones of the wild and drunken guests dancing on the tables?

The flowers were incridible, cake simply lovely. And you two look like you're on cloud 9!

So happy you had wonderful weather for your special day.

Many, many years of wedded bliss to you and Martin!

Paula

How come no cans tied to the "get away car"? Best wishes for the new chapter of your lives together.

We hid the car at a neighbor's house. Good thing too.

I do suggest however, that in the future you think twice before putting "short" and "quickie" in a post about your honeymoon!

Finally! Patrick, I am glad it was you that caught on to that! I really wish I could have posted, "iamq's long and fabulous, extended honeymoon...", but alas, it was not to be.

iamq - I didn't know you JUST got married! Congratulations (and thank you for passing along tips to me and my boyfriend)!

I have to say, every part of your post makes me proud to live in California. May you have a long, happy marriage!

p.s. My best friend also stayed at the Post Ranch while she was getting married at Esalen. We weren't able to see it then, so I was excited to finally see where they stayed. Wow!

Many congratulations! The flowers were beautiful; I can just imagine the scent of plumeria.

I also loved the pictures of the Post Ranch Inn. What a gorgeous setting! Thanks for sharing pictures. I would love to stay there someday.

Quick question for you Bill

If you go to andrewharper.com and click on his Top 20 U.S. Hideaways. Is this the Pacific Suite that you stayed in that's shown on this page?

Hi Andrew,

Yes, that is it. I believe it was called Ross. When you click on that picture however it brings up a picture of the inside of the new Cliff House room.

BTW...thanks to you all for all the nice things you said.

Due to my not being as mobile rigtht now due to my health problems, we had to cancel Post Ranch on the 14th and instead going to be at the Mandarin in San Francisco on the 14th for 5 nights. It was a grueling decision but it made no sense to be there where I couldn't do my hiking/exploring which is what I love to do while there.

iamq, there must be gremlins in my computer because I can't get the pics to open. But if they are half as nice as I'm imagining, it must have been a beautiful wedding and honeymoon, many congrats!!

That is just so strange. I checked to see if the last two links worked before I posted on the thread over on Caribbean board. email me at bquarre at yahoo dot com and I'll send you a link.

I just followed the link from the Caribbean forum, too, and couldn't get it to open.

Anyway, congrats to you & Martin! I couldn't be more pleased for you and I hope the honeymoon continues through your trip to Virgin Gorda next summer.

I can't get the new links to work either. :-< I'll try it on my lunch hour at work, my computer there is a little better than the one at home.

iamq, I sure wish you were going to be in town next weekend. I don't get out to SF much and I'm sad that I won't be meeting you and hubby.
