I75 must sees

I'll be driving my family to Atlanta from Cincinnati in a couple days. We want to stop northern Georgia or Southern Tennessee. Does anyone know of any interesting places to stop along I-75 between Cincy and Atlanta; especially closer to Atlanta??
Thanks!

Chattanooga is a great small city with a highly-praised (freshwater) aquarium and redeveloped riverfront. Good place to stop for lunch or longer if you want to see the aquarium. 2 hours from Atlanta.

Agree about Chattanooga but it is a little west.
The drive down I75 is a pretty one but sort of unpopulated. Berea is on the way--interesting crafts. There is Knoxville, of course. Maybe google for things in Knoxville.

Downtown Chattanooga is only about 5 miles west of I-75. Or am I missing something?

No, Brian, you are correct. And it's a great suggestion.

Getting into Chattanooga doesn't add any more miles as staying on I-40 to get into Knoxville rather than taking I-75 around it.

Chattanooga, in addition to the aquarium and riverfront also has the Incline, Ruby Falls, Point Park and Rock City, all on Lookout Mountain. Just a walk around Point Park is worth a trip for the views and history (a Civil War Battle raged on the brim of Lookout Mountain). And its free.

Sorry, I should clarify..... Point Park is free. The Incline, Ruby Falls and Rock City all have admission fees.
