Wow still no one who's been to Huntington Beach..

The two big resorts are about 5 minutes from the Main Street area of Huntington Beach.

You would probably do better for kid-friendly sushi restaurants by avoiding Main Street, probably Matsu

Ruby's is okay for American, it's at the end of the pier...burgers, shakes etc. They do have a few parking spaces at the end of the pier.

For fish tacos Normita's Indianapolis at Beach (not a fancy place though) or there is Fiesta Grill on 17th Street at Pecan.

We have been to Huntington Beach. It seems like a place that's very popular with locals and their kids. It's a nice public beach. I think it has bathroom facilities there.

I have been there...just don't "go" there. If that makes any sense?? We stayed one weekend due to a good promotion that dh got for the Hyatt there... which was/is a lovely resort. Loved the giant fire pit with the packages of "samores" they have to make!

They are staying at a new place, Shore Break which is a Joie d'vivre. She got a really good deal - can you tell she's my DD?

Carefully what you say about me, she is going to be reading this thread!

Hi Dawn, we don't go that way often either except we do have some friends in Huntington Harbor so do go up there off and on. Funny how I think of it as out of our way but it is really not that far at all. Guess we get into our own little world. We like Javier's too.

El Ranchito is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants..
We go to the one in Newport Beach which is right next store to HB but they do have one in Huntington Beach..
