How to share my pictures -- Anyone know about Kodak Gallery or other sites to use?
I just spent the better part of an hour uploading only 10 pictures on Kodak Gallery. Now that I have them uploaded, I have no idea how to provide you guys with a link to view them.
Anyone ever use Kodak Gallery and can help me? Or are there better sites (free) to use to do this?
Thanks, I'm clueless!

Hi panecott,
Click "share album" on the top of the kodak gallery screen. Email the invitation to yourself. When you get the email, click on the link provided to view your photos. Copy the link from *that* window.
And paste it here for all to see!
(You might want to test it out first by hitting the preview button on fodor's and then checking if your link works.)

Thanks matnikstym, but I can't figure out how to provide the link without my personal email address. There must be something that I'm missing (or maybe not).
Sumerknot, I'll check out Picassa in the am. Thanks.
Any other thoughts?
Still clueless.

I like using Worldisround.com
They give you so much space free then you have to buy for el cheapo price.
Very easy to use and you can cut n' paste the i'net addy of each page of pics or even an individual pic....or "tinyurl" it.

A good location to compare the merits of various photo-sharing sites is http://www.andromeda.com/people/ddyer/photo/albums.html .

On Kodak Gallery, when you go to the "Share Album" page, just put in your own email address.
When you receive the email from Kodak Gallery, in the bottom of the email there is a http link with short paragraph saying something like: "If you have trouble viewing this page, you can paste the http link to the address bar."
That http link directly links to your album, so you can email your friends with your "preferred" email address with just the link.
Hope this makes sense.

Thanks!
yk, I'll have to go back and see what I'm doing wrong.
I'll also give Shutterfly a look-see.
Caph, just what I need...one more thing from keeping me from getting some work done, lol.

Have you ever tried www.photofun.myphotomax.com ?
It is a new and up coming photosite that is so easy to use. They give you free life time storage for about 3500 pictures. They also give you 20 free 4x6 prints and 1 free 8x10 print to test their quality. Free online sharing is a snap. They are also the only photosite out there that lets you send in your older photos and slides to be scanned and digitized. They then send you back your orginals and a CD with them all digitized and load them to your private site. They also do a fantastic job digitizing your old video tapes. They have a live customer service line too. 1-800-487-2020 or feel free to contact me for help. You can turn your photo's into Hollywood styled movies, put a picture on a mug, playing cards, purse, puzzel make a fun calendar and so many other fun gifts. I love it.

I find www.fotki.com really easy to use. I believe also on the kodak site you need to copy the address which shows up in the address bar in internet explorer and paste the address to people with whome you want to share the images.

I use www.imagestation.com which is a Sony product. I also use them to order all the fun and silly things with pictures on them. I especially like their photobooks that I create. My wife (the scrapbook fanatic) and her scrapper buddies can't believe what I can create online and the quality.
I have other friends who use www.photobucket.com
All the above are free.
