Your son might also like Birch Aquarium in LaJolla near Scripps, it is small and not expensive. Nice exhibits.

Thanks everyone for suggestions..u guys made my trip wonderful..I visited seaworld,zoo,legoland,beaches etc .i loved SD i will definitely come back..
