How to download realplayer
I would like to be able to see video clips of trailers and perhaps listen to other radio stations nationwide. I herd you need to download RealPlayer. I have a Hewlett Packard computer and using Juno as a internet provider. Any suggestions on what to do and what is the cost?
Thanks, J.B. Blackwood

Wow, that was blunt.
There is no cost for RealPlayer. I believe there are upgrades that you can pay for, but you really don't need an upgrade for what you want to use it for. You'll find that the quality depends a lot on your internet connection speed.
You can go to real.com to download.

Lori (and J.B.) - sorry if I was blunt - if you've read my regular posts in this forum you'll know that I'm scrupulously polite but this thread is so totally unrelated to travel that it seemed sensible to just point the poster in the right direction. When I see non-travel thread that are just looking to stir up controversy I chose not to respond but simply weanted to help on this one (despite being a bit brusque).

I completely agree with Owen regarding him always being polite (and may I add helpful, too) and the fact that this question is totally unrelated to travel. What's with so many of these original posts lately? Questions about how to download; ambassador Katharine; the election; sleeping arrangements between grandparents and grandkids; on and on. Are people's lives so empty that they have to come up with non-travel related questions at a site devoted to travel? There are other ways to get the info needed and other places to go to air your personal beliefs on issues. Just another reason that Fodor's should be a bit more dilligent in monitoring the boards and keep out irrelevant posts. Just my 2 cents worth.
