How many people are really out there, anyway?
After reading this forum a while, I am getting the idea that there really are only about 50 people out there. Or maybe there are a lot of people who read but don't post. Does anyone know how big the Fodor's travel lounge really is? Should we all just reply once on this thread to get a kind of head count? I'm just curious.

I think there are many people who read and don't post. One of the reasons is that there is a high level of criticism, both on writing skills and on opinions. But I travel more and more and love it. This forum has helped me with information on travel choices much more than lots of other databases / written sources.

AS IF ...
.... as if Fodor's would ever admit that there's a core of about 50 people plus about 5 Fodor's employees who stir up forums that haven't been active for a day or two. . . (But I'm sure Fodor's never thought up people like AMS on their own!)

Just a guess, since so many use varying names and e-mails, but I have a feeling that in a given week as many as 200-300 (or more) post questions or answers on the different forums. It seems the U.S. forum may have more different posters than others. The Europe forum does have many regulars but also gets a lot of newbies as well because of the popularity of European travel. Of course I could be way off. Maybe 2 or 3 individuals with multiple personalities are behind them all. I am not. You are too. I am not......
