How Do You Board Captain Sundown

Aloha!

I'm looking into to doing a Captain Sundown tour and was wondering how you board the boat?

I know you have to wade out, but then is it a ladder? Stairs?

I'm overweight, so a little worried about that. I can climb stairs and ladders fine.

Any info would be great.

Captain Sundown in Kauai for the Na Pali Morning Snorkel Sail.

Sorry. Hit the post button before I should.

My recollection is that it shouldn't be a problem. Yes, you do wade a short distance in very shallow water. Then, I think there were just a few steps. You might want to verify this directly with the company.

FYI, it was very much a "thrill" ride when I did it. I needed the Dramamine I'd taken. But it was really beautiful and I do recommend it. Just know that it's not a gentle, relaxing sail.

When we went they put our stuff in waterproof bags and we jumped into an outrigger and paddled out to the boat. Coming back we paddled back in and caught a wave and rode it to the beach. It was so fun!!! Loved the whole experience!!!

I guess they don't do that anymore. Here's a link to their FAQs which explains how you board:

Wow my reading skill so suck today. You are wondering about a ladder and to my recollection there was a ladder that we used to board the boat.
