House Rental on Carolina Beach

We have rented a house on Carolina Beach. Are the houses mostly nice? Now concerned that some homes are not so nice. Reviews sound good for ours, but just being concerned. We are 3 families with a 4 year old and a 1 yr. old. Basically looking for some relaxing beach time. Are beaches crowed last week of July?

Well, one house can be crummy and the one next door is wonderful. Surely you at least looked at pictures of the inside. If the reviews are good you should be fine. And yes VERY VERY crowded.

Homemom:

It would be helpful if you shared a link to the house that you have rented.

Good reviews are certainly a positive. Are you dealing directly with the owner or thru an agency?

What is the concern that "some homes are not so nice?" As defined how? Their exterior looks? The kind of renters they attract? You should be there, IMO, for the beach and for what the place you rented offers.

Well, there ARE places to rent that are "not so nice" at every beach--the room on the ground floor is musty, the sofa cushions are worn out, the freezer shelves are broken (oh, yeah, that was ours). But as you say, IF hers looks good, then it is a moot point what others are like.
