Going to DC April 9 for 5 nights and need a hotel with an indoor pool for my 2 daughters 10 & 8. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Pretty limited choices: Lowes l enfant plaza is wonderful with a great pool on the roof. There is also JW Marriott.
Try turbotrip or capital reservations for cheapest prices (not an ad--I just investigated a dc hotel issue myself.)

Embassy Suites hotels usually have indoor pools. I am sure there is one somewhere in DC

We have stayed in Tysons Corner outside of DC and the Marriott and Emabassy Suites both had indoor pools there.

Would not suggest tyson's corner as the previous poster did. As a resident of DC, I don't stay in hotels here but will tell you there probably aren't many if any. Try a close suburb and commute in if it is truly important. Tyson's corner is a distant suburb and the commute in and out for touring would be VERY inconvenient. Look in either Arlington or Bethesda. Bethesda will more likely have a motel with indoor pool and the ride in on the metro is not that far or bad.

There are getting to be more hotels in DC with indoor pools than L'Enfant Plaza. The Hilton Garden Inn at Franklin Sq and Marriott on 22nd St have them, as well as Embassy Suites on 22nd St and in Chevy Chase. I would choose all of those over L'Enfant Plaza myself, but I don't like its style or location; I know lots of families seem to stay there so they must like it and if you only want a hotel with pool and won't go anywhere much at night, it's probably fine, if you can get a decent rate. You will find more in the suburbs, of course. I second the opinion that I would never recommend anyone stay at Tysons Corner. It is a shopping mall for one thing, but it does not have a metro stop and the traffic around it is simply horrendous. It's not really too far out in miles, just beyond the beltway, but it's awful IMO. Staying in Chevy Chase Pavilion at Embassy Suites would be better for a shopping mall as it's closer and right on the metro. There may be hotels in the other shopping center suburban areas with pools.
