Hotels in Vegas
We are 3 twenty-something girls looking for a hotel in Vegas at End-Sept/Beg-August. We want something that is comfortable and on the upper end of the scale, looking to stay somewhere where there will be other people of similar age and somewhere that is not over-run with children, can anyone make any suggestions? Thanks

Sarah,
My 3 friends and I are going around the same time. We are going to Mandalay Bay. A couple of us have been there before and have enjoyed our time there. It is on the strip(end), and there are plenty of twentysomethings there to meet and have fun with. I wouldnt suggest Hard Rock because it is off the strip and you'll want to be on the strip.
There are some good bars/clubs in Mandalay, and the beach/pool/lazy river is awesome. You will also be close to other hotels that have some good bars/clubs such as NYNY, Luxor, etc. NYNY has a cool dueling pianos bar...good time..go there. I believe they have a Coyote Ugly bar too that is pretty interesting. Let me know if you have any other questions.

My husband and his friends (all 20-somethings) go every year. They loved Hard Rock (which my husband really thought he would not like) and really disliked Mandalay Bay. He said HR is where all the action is and they are much more generous to gamblers who are not high rollers (he and his friends probably gambled a total of $5-6,000 and were comped one night of their room and some free meals and drinks - has never happened at any other hotel). He also really liked the Mirage and the Venetian.
