Hotels in Suffolk County (Long Island)

Can anyone recommend a hotel on Long Island near Stonybrook/Setauket? I'm getting married in the area next Fall, and we're looking for to block some hotel rooms.

Thanks

try the Three village inn, right in historic stonybrook. or there is a marriott in (i think) Islandia, right off exit 60 on the LIE, and there is also a sheraton in smithtown, close to the LIE as well.

There are a couple Hampton Inns not far away, and the Huntington/Melville area has a Marriott and Hyatt I believe. This is about a 15-20 min. ride away. We had a daughter's wedding in that area and most the guests stayed at the Marriott Islandia.

We lived in Setauket for years, have lots of family up that way, so we've stayed in hotels for weddings, etc. There's a Holiday Inn Express on Nesconset Hwy. (in Stonybrook or Centereach, I don't know what town they list it as) and this past September we stayed the Three Village Inn. We'd always wanted to but had no reason while we were living on LI. I have to tell you, we absolutely loved it! It felt like being in Williamsburg, and the town is right there, also the harbor to walk to. Dinner in the Inn was great and the staff is very efficient. We can't wait to find a reason to go back, keep hoping for someone in the family to get married. We also stayed at the hotel in Islandia next to the LIE, it was the Marriott, it may be the Radisson now. Good luck.
