Where the heck is that?

Dave,I would recommend the Andrews Hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights just a couple of weeks ago and it's great value.It's just 2 blocks off Union Sq so it's very convenient for sightseeing and restaurants/bars and shopping. It's a boutique style hotel with pretty and comfortable,but some rather small, rooms.We paid £99/night with a delicious breakfast of pastries,rolls,muffins,orange juice etc. included in the price,and it's served just outside your room.There is also a complimentary glass of wine every evening.
I would definately stay there again!

The Chancellor Hotel might be in your price range. It's on Union Square, older hotel..but well kept. We liked it.

go to priceline.com, request a four star hotel for $90 bucks. It works, it's great!!!
