We went to the Bluebird - great (and tiny) venue.

LT, is Green Hills in the Opryland area?
No--not close at all! Opryland is on the other side of the Cumberland River from the Nashville-y part of Nashville and is one of my least favorite parts of a wonderful and fun city. I never recommend staying over there--it's very blah and could be an interstate interchange in almost any city. The only thing it has going for it is the Grand Ole Opry and the Opryland Hotel which is a destination in itself.

If you want to go to the Bluebird, pay close attention to their show schedule during your visit and when tickets go on sale--it's quite small and sells out easily.

it was really important for us to get tickets to the Bluebird, so we figured out the ticket sale schedule in advance and set it up to buy the night before. Then we got up at 6 am to press the “buy tickets” button which puts you in one of those virtual lines. We were using a couple of computers and just took the one that had the fewest minutes in the virtual line. Where you sit does not matter - as I said, it’s tiny.

What a complicated reservation system!
Right now, on their calendar, there's nothing showing for the dates we're there (Oct 16, 17, 18) and I don't know if that means there's no show those nights or if it's just not on the calendar yet. I've emailed them to ask but I had to guess at the email address. It seemed to go though. For some reason, on my computer I can't just hit a box that says 'send email' to a place. I actually have to type in an address.

Well, my email bounced back so I guess I guessed wrong. Does anyone happen to know the Bluebirds 'general questions' email address?
I tried calling but there's no answer.
Thanks

Okee doke, I got someone on the phone and got their email address but she also answered my question for me: October shows won't be on their calendar till mid-September.
