Sedona awaits you! Just telephone 1-800-288-7336 and request your free copy of the 76-page booklet "Experience Sedona." It lists the hotels, motels, B&Bs, resorts, camping, restaurants, etc. Or check out Sedona's web sites on the Internet. The Chamber of Commerce (above number) will gladly furnish them.

We loved the Best Western Inn of Sedona. Ask for a third floor (actually ground level) room with a rear view facing north...exquisite. And call Best Western reservations (not the hotel) for the best rates...ask for any discounts that may apply...business card, AAA, AARP or Entertainment. We stayed there in June for around $90 per night. I can recommend a charming little restaurant within walking distance called Judy's. Also, drive out to The Enchantment for a meal (if you are willing to spend big bucks and have the male members of your group wear a coat and tie) or (more casually) for drinks on the patio in mid-afternoon.

If you enjoy staying at B&B's, you'd love the Canyon Villa B&B. It is one of our favorites in the country. Exceptional rooms, food, and service.

My wife and I have go to Santa Fe every year (last 5 years) for Indian Market.

We stay at Dancing Ground of the Sun (dancingground.com)..a small B&B located about 3 blocks from the Plaza. Our casita has a full kitchen, living area, separate bedroom and fireplace. We highly reccommend it.

while it's not right in santa fe, the galiesto inn, which is in the quaint twon of galisteo, about 20 min. south of santa fe, is one of the nicest places to stay in the area. it's a 300-year old hacienda. www.galisteoinn.com

We were in Sante Fe last June and stayed at the Inn of the Governor, which was really nice. We had an incredibly good meal at Julianno's one night and at Anastazi's the next. Hope this helps.

I,too, must agree with Polly, we stayed at the Best Western in Sedona in June and had a wonderful location on the ground floor facing the beautiful mountains. We had lunch at Orchids, very nice and dinner at the Bell Rock Inn. Also very nice. Have a wonderful trip.
