Hot Wine Country Restaurants

Looking for some new recommendations. We are vegetarians but eat eggs and dairy. We have previously enjoyed Tre Vigne, Bouchon and Bistro Don Giovanni. Already have reservations this time for Redd. Was thinking of going to Mustard's Grill this time. Any other suggestions?

Napa county only,doc ?

Budo,N.V. and Celadon in Napa town. Their downtown is quite nicely revitalized and nifty. Be sure to stop in at the Bounty Hunter for vino.

Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen in St. Helena
and Kal jeeps dragging us back to Martini House.

Terra if you've never been.

Wine country is ambiguous. Where? I'm a veggie too and never have trouble finding a great meal in CA. It ain't like Mobile.

Sorry, didn't realize you used the same descriptors for both wineries and restaurants.

Napa or Sonoma, maybe Healdsburg if it is really worth it.

We have a girl's weekend out there in a few weeks (staying in Sonoma Town) and based of Fodorites information have booked meals at:
-the Girl and Fig
-Harvest Moon Cafe
-Della Santina's

All are in Sonoma (the town). Don't know if they are hot, but I'll report back in mid-June.

french laundry is obvious but have a great veggie menu, hard to get a spot and it warrants a pretty special event to justify the price. mustards grill has been my favorite spot in the valley, market in st helena is a fun local spot with good comfort food and a cool atmosphere

I think Mustard's is more of a meat-eater's place. For great veggie dishes: Pearl in downtown Napa, Celadon (Napa), Wappo Bistro in Calistoga, Gordon's in Yountville.

I loved the Girl and Fig!

Maybe we were just wined out, but I couldn't have been less impressed with Martini House, not to mention that it seemed very overpriced.

Love Tra Vigne, Wappo Bistro and Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen. If you go to Cindy's you have to get the clams casino.

Well, clams aren't exactly veggie ;-)
Maybe for an "aquitarian"
Willi's in Healdsburg is great for "small plate" dining and several good vegetarian options.

Ooops, sorry you're right, I missed the vegetarian requirement.

In that case Wappo Bistro will be great, they've got a lot of vegetarian entrees.
