hot air balloon ride

I'm looking to do this for our one year anniversary in either MA or NH. Can anyone recommend a company to go with? And if you've done this before, was it worth the money?

Thanks.

Well worth the money. I booked with www.balloonsovernewengland.com who flies out of Mass. (south shore), Maine and Vermont.

You help set up and take down the balloon, as well as being in the air for about an hour. It was amazing and I'd go again in a heartbeat.

I recently got a gift certificate for my dad for a hot air balloon ride here, http://www.800soaring.com/. Can use it nationwide and they have discount prices. No problems and he loved his ride here in Illinois.

Never done it but my Mom's 60 year old cousin and 88 year old aunt went on a bolloon ride and it got stuck in a tree. They actually thought that was hilarious. We cried listening to their description of the ride.

My former boss & his wife went (in Glen Falls NY area) and thought it was great. They'd won a ticket in a raffle, and I think (but not certain) they might do it again even if paying themselves.

I've sky-dived a few times, and can see how great it would be staying up in the air for a sustained amount of time with hardly any noise. We may try it for a special celebration eventually.
