Horse riding in Phoenix???
Does anybody know of a stable or barn that does horse trail riding for the public in Phoenix? Or anywhere within an hour of Phoenix? We want to take my sister & her family for her birthday in early December -- she lives in Tempe. We just want to go trail riding but any type of horse-related leads would be GREAT! Thanks!!!

I also believe that Rawhide Western Town in Scottsdale offers trail rides.
Sorry I don't have 800 numbers for some of these stables, but you might want to try 1-800-555-1212 to see if they have an 800 number.
Have fun.

I rode with a friend with a guide from WindWalker Riding Tours in the desert just outside Phoenix. The guide was very knowledgeable about the flora/fauna; we stopped and nibbled on jojoba berries. The horses were excellent, and although I am an experienced rider and my friend was not, we both had a wonderful ride.
