Horse riding in Phoenix???

Does anybody know of a stable or barn that does horse trail riding for the public in Phoenix? Or anywhere within an hour of Phoenix? We want to take my sister & her family for her birthday in early December -- she lives in Tempe. We just want to go trail riding but any type of horse-related leads would be GREAT! Thanks!!!

About a year ago, I heard an interview with the Don Donnelly stables. It sounded like they had some great programs. The area they ride in - the Superstition Mountains - would be the most scenic

I rode with a friend with a guide from WindWalker Riding Tours in the desert just outside Phoenix. The guide was very knowledgeable about the flora/fauna; we stopped and nibbled on jojoba berries. The horses were excellent, and although I am an experienced rider and my friend was not, we both had a wonderful ride.
