I'm planning a trip to Las Vegas and have heard that Hoover Dam can be spectacular at night and that is when I should go.

Has anyone ever been to Hoover Dam at the evening and do you recommend it?

I had been planning on going for the first Hard Hat tour in the morning, but now I am thinking of switching to the last tour of the day so I can try and catch some darkness. I am going in mid-January, so I expect it to be dark by 6pm.

Any advice or recommendations?

Be prepared to wait in line if you go towards the end of the day (1 hr. plus)

the Hard Hat tour is $25 and you can make reservations in advance..that is the only tour that you can..I`ll look for the #......
