Honeymoon in Vegas?

I spent the good part of 6 days in Vegas and felt like it was too short, I didn't get in nearly enough of what I wanted to see and this was in the summer. I think there is more to do in the cooler temps because you can enjoy Red Rock or Hoover Dam without bursting into flames. Now keep in mind that I like gambling, shows, dining, bars, and visiting all the hotels and tourist trappy attractions along the strip. I did pretty much all of these activities every day along with spending a couple hours at the pool. Your answer may depend on, how many of these will you and your spouse enjoy doing together? How much are you willing to $pend? I could probably spend 2 weeks before getting bored but that's me...

Personally, I think Las Vegas is a good destination for a weekend trip. With all the possible places to visit in the US, I can't imagine spending 7 nights there, esspecially on a honeymoon. Everyone has different interests and ideas about fun, but I would choose some place else.

Seven nights in Vegas is too long, unless you plan to do lots of day trips away from the Strip. What time of the year is your wedding? Depending upon the time of year, you could go to Zion, Bryce or Grand Canyon national parks for a few days. Also, nearby is Red Rock Canyon and Valley of Fire state park....both good for day trips.
