Holiday Valley: Where to stay?
Does anyone have suggestions on where to stay in Holiday Valley? We are part of a group of families that hope to travel there during ski season. I am not sure a big house is the answer, are there some condos with a central gathering area? Other suggestions?
We have not been here before so any ideas/information is welcome.
Thank you.

I have checked their sites and vrbo. I was wondering about experiences people had at either place and how far things were etc. Have either of you stayed at the resort or gotten one of the vrbo rentals?

I have stayed at the main resort and most of the property is set up as hotel rooms, many with fireplaces... the skiing is right on the property... next door is a private resort called Holimont with weekday skiing for non-members but I have never rented there... Tamarack Lodge is the timeshare option...
Your best bet would be to check with the resort rental office for the condo rentals... this would give you prime access to the skiing... VRBO may or may not be on the resort...

Thanks Garyt22. If we just go alone the hotel room at the main resort would work well. One of the VRBO places I looked at said it had "weekday skiing" right out the door. I presume this was in Holimont. I will look at Tamarack and call the rental office.
