holiday in usa

Hi, I intend travelling to USA in last week of Sept and first week of Oct this year. Ideally I am looking for a coastal area which will still be warm and close to areas that would be of interest. A laid back easy going atmosphere but with a bit of night nife would be the ideal. Any suggestions would be greatly welcome

Define "areas that would be of interest". Specifically. NYC? DC? Disneyworld? LA? Mexico?

inisark-
The USA is a huge country with thousands of miles of coastline. There are many warm areas in late September - early October. Have you done any preliminary research to narrow it down a little bit?

Hi, apologies, should have given more of my ideas. We intend to go to the west coast. My firt idea would be to head towards the key west area. Ideally I would like to stay in a smallish tourist village along a beach front. I know I am still not narrowing it down fully but i`m hoping that I can get a few ideas that I can look into, thanks a mill for the help

Key West is on the East Coast. Maybe you intended on seeing the West Coast of Florida?

If you are planning a trip to Florida in late September-early October, be aware that this is still hurricane season and that there is slightly more risk in SW and SE Florida. It shouldn't keep you from your trip. Just be aware of it.

If it's Florida that you want to go to, I would suggest Sanibel Island, but as a previous poster mentioned, Sept-Oct is hurricane season and your plans could be ruined.

You could travel to California and go to San Diego.
