Hocking Hills,OH accomodation

Hi all,

I am looking for accomodation for 2 , in a cabin in hocking hills area for 4th to 7th oct (thur-sat)
I tried atleast 20 places ,none of them has vacancy for friday-sat night

Anyone familiar with a website where i can check all accomodations availability at once for that area...on reg websites like orbitz/tripadvisor etc there are only 2-3 places mentioned and they are all full..

Have you tried HockingHills.com, I don't think you can search for reservations all at once, but it lists all of the Bed & Breakfasts, Cabins and Cottages, Inns and Motels and Local Lodging.

Also, I always try to call when the web site states nothing available.

Good Luck !

If you click on 'Lodging' at the site the above poster gave you, you will get what you are asking for. This is it: http://hockinghills.com/stayat.htm

We stayed at Ravenwood Castle several years ago. It looked really neat on the web page. We were quite disappointed in our stay. The service was abysmal. Our room was still not cleaned by 5 pm and when it was done, it was only half done. Light bulbs were burned out and not replaced. Just a lot of little misses that added up to a disappointing stay.

It will be hard to find a place for a weekend in October (unless there is a cancellation). I always try the web site above, but definitely call if you see something you like. I have found that the web site frequently says nothing available and when you call there is. If you really want to go at that time, you might be able to find something in one of the hotels in Logan (Holiday Inn or Amerihost). It isn't the same as a cabin, but you have to drive to any of the various areas no matter where you stay, so it might work for you. Weekends in October is the peak season and people make reservations a year ahead of time.
