I've done the muledrawn wagon, a decade ago. It was great! It was lead by a local man who offered a fascinating glimpse into the history of the valley in which he's grown up. The valley is gorgeous! The ride down into the valley in an old jeep was fairly scary.

Other than the horse tour, there are two main tours. One is by van only.
The other is by van down into the valley, then you transfer to the mule driven wagon. We did that one in January and enjoyed it very much. We liked the slow pace and open-air sides of the wagon. The guide gave a history lesson and also told us about the abundant flora of the valley.
