Helpful Hint for Replies/Posts with Looooong URL address

Thought it might be time for a reminder. If you are posting a link to a webpage and it's really long, it can get messed up when put in the reply box or post a new message box.

If you go to www.tinyurl.com and paste the address in there first, it reduces it to a manageable sized url.

Hope this helps...

Good reminder, Debi. I am sometimes guilty of long URL's myself so I'll keep this in mind and try to do better.

I admit I was guilty of dragging my feet about checking tinyurl.com out and now I try to use it whenever I can.

I'll admit, I still drag and drop that stupid favorite place heart that AOL uses when I get lazy.

Thnak you very much!! For this computer-limited person, it was not a reminder but rather an enlightenment!! I had no idea that such a great convenience even existed. Thanks again.

Here's another one, just like the other one.

There's definitely a theme here, folks!

Thanks for that reminder, DebitNM. I could have used it a couple of times and didn't, not thinking ahead of the consequences when people go to read the thread.
