I appreciate Ann's candid assessment of Tyson's Corners. I don't usually see my hotel after leaving early in the AM until late at night, so the environment wouldn't bother me much, considering it's an Embassy Suite.
I have reservations next month at Summerfield Suites at Embassy Sq (a Wyndham) just off Dupont Circle. Got a terrific rate $159 suite w/ two bedrooms, two baths + LR/Kit. They had other good rates, you may wish to look into. I stopped by while in DC last week to check it out, as I'd reserved without knowing anything of it. Seems pretty good. I've found some good prices too at http://www.funtastiktravel.com Yeah, I hate when I procrastinate & lose a good deal. (no x in my e-ddress)
