help with organizing large group logistics in Sonoma/Napa
A group of girlfriends and I would love to get together with our families for a long weekend in Sonoma/Napa. Ideally, we'd like to rent a large house with enough room for a handful of families or perhaps an entire B&B that wouldn't mind young children on the property. We would probably prefer to be in a location that allows us easy access to both Sonoma and Napa, but that's not a dealbreaker.
I would love some help with coming up with properties that fit this description, or a travel agent/organizer who specializes in Napa/large groups who would help us locate such properties.
Thanks in advance!

We attended a gathering at a really amazing estate rented by friends through VRBO. I'll see if I can find the listing, but I think you should peruse that website. There are likely to be a number of places available.

It definitely depends on how many people. We have done this and rented two houses as close together as possible.
One that we have used several times is the Napa River House. He is listed on vrbo.com or at www.napariverhouse.com. It is not luxurious by any means, but it is clean and is on the river with a motorboat and three kayaks available. (I think there may be a small charge for the motorboat.) Our kids/young people loved fishing either off the dock or out on the boat.
It has four bedrooms and a nice large living/dining room area where we usually put up air mattresses for the kids. The kitchen is usable, but not gourmet. There is a very nice porch overlooking the river and, of course, the dock. Plus, it is off the highway between Napa and Sonoma, so is convenient for both, but closer to Napa.
By the way, I have no personal interest in this house. I just have loved staying there. There are many other properties listed on vrbo.com.

Hi there,
I'm in the midst of planning a similar weekend.
We are staying here http://www.sonomawinecountryvacationhomes.com/
It was the best deal that I found online and sleeps plenty.
There are two different homes there and both seem great.
Let me know if you end up booking!
