Help---Weather in Charleston?

I have wanted to visit Charleston for a long time, and through a time-share exchange we have an opportunity to stay at the Church Street Inn, but the only time available is the last week of Feb. Can anyone help me on what the likely weather would be? I don't mind cold, but would hate to spend a week in rain, after waiting so long to visit there. Also, does anyone know anything about Church St. Inn? I'd be grateful for any info you can pass my way.

Temps will probably be in the 40s to low 60s. We loved Charleston - if you get a chance, try to visit some of the plantations. Magnolia's is a great spot for dinner. I have not stayed at the Church Street Inn, but it gets good reviews. Have a wonderful time.

Son is in Savannah - close enough to Charleston for a weather report.

Jan/Feb tend to be cool, drizzle, raw.
Mar/Apr spring erupts, with some showers in larger amount but for shorter periods of time and significantly warmer temps.

So you guess if you will get Jan/Feb weather or Mar/Apr weather - could be either.

Hi, GCHAN - I looked over at tripadvisor.com - this place has a bit of a reputation for canceling reservations at the last limit, otherwise reviews are good. If you go over there, you can see pictures, etc. It's a good site to use.

Having stayed at the Church Street Inn 2 times I have always found it a pleasant place to stay. No problems. Right in the middle of the Historical area.
The weather can be as stated chilly and rainy as it is definitely winter in this area of the country. Then it may be sun but cold.
