Charleston Weather March-April

Considering a long weekend to Charleston/Kiawah at the end of March to the beginning of April. What kind of weather should I expect?

This would be for a large family trip celebrating an 80th birthday with 3 families and kids. If this were you would you say it's too much of a gamble and look elsewhere?

http://www.wunderground.com has a feature which allows you to see the historical weather data for the time period you are considering. It is under the icon for Trip Planner.

No, you'll definitely have non-coat wearing weather. Where are you coming from?

With a group like that skip Kiawah and stay downtown. It will be too chilly for the beach but nice pool weather.

Look at the following hotels:

Mills House
Best Western King Charles
Holiday Inn Calhoun (NOT riverview)
Charleston Place
Renaissance
