No recommendations. But are you willing to spend as much as $100 extra per night because of snorring??!!!!! Personally I would put up with the snorring. I spent four years in college listening to it!

I think Hotel Beacon has 1 bedroom suite. It's a great place to stay! Check them on line. Don't forget to take earplugs! I think extra money would be well spent to have a good nights sleep!!!! Have fun!

Try the DoubleTree on Broadway. They have a bedroom and a sofa that converts. Also, any of the Manhattan East Suites hotels. See their web site. All are apartment style hotels with seperate rooms. The Plaza 50 on the East Side is good, as is The Kimberly hotel. Give a look on or better yet, call Express Reservations or QuikBook Reservations for deals on any of the above and recommendations for others. Good Luck. My mom snores - I sympathize.

Just remember that the entire Times Square area is totally shutdown...police barricades... on Dec. 31st for the New Year's Eve celebration. You will definitely have a problem coming and going from the hotel on that day. Unless you are guaranteed a window view on Times Square, your best bet would be to stay uptown (Beacon) or on the Eastside.

The Gorham Hotel has one bedroom suites that are quite large and the bedroom is down the hall from the sitting area with a sofa bed. Plenty of separation for snorers, and sometimes good rates on the hotel's website or on Quikbook.com.

Thanks for all the advice much appreciated! Another question! (call me greedy) I will be glad to show my mate all the sights - but (thankfully) having been to NYC a few times think I have done most of the "must sees" or have I? anyone got suggestions of things to do after one has seen all the usual "sights" THANKS
