Help? New Years Eve travels

Hey has anyone seen any GOOD deals for travel around New Years Eve? Would like to go someplace nice/fun and not overly crowded for New Years. Can't find any good deals out there.
Has anyone had any luck or are we to late.

Those deals will start showing up around Thanksgiving. What city are you flying out of? Start searching the sunday travel section of the New York Times or the LA Times.

Concierge.com has some deals that are good until March 2004. Some of them look really good.

Travelocity has a section called "Dream Maps". You can plug in your departure city & it will show aifares between there & other destinations with prices. Not sure whether you can also plug in future dates though (ie I know it shows what the fares are now). Since the exchange rate is so favorable for US dollars in Canada, have you considered someplace there?

Thanks Mclaurie,
Canada is a good idea, but I don't want to get caught driving in a snowstorm. With my luck, it'll be snowing like crazy if we drive to Canada or back home. Would like to go someplace with some warm weather and sun.
