Help me plan 1 week in Miami South Beach
My wife and I will be spending a week in South Beach at the end of January. We are interested in finding nice restaurants that cater to vegetarians; places to photograph street art; historical/architectural tours in the area; interesting museums; live music venues ( featuring all types of jazz); places to take nice long walks. Also looking for wonderful rooftop bars to take in a sunset. Any suggestions about visiting Little Havana will be appreciated. We are not interested in sitting or laying out on the beach all day! Thanks!

I was in South Beach last February and this walking tour was recommended http://www.mdpl.org/tours/guided-walking-tours/. You will find nice things to photograph on the walk and can go back to later. It must be very popular because there were two groups and our guide was very good. I can't really help with your other questions as my tastes are different. However we choose random restaurants choices based on the menus displayed and did not have any bad meals.

We only stayed five nights, but we definitely hit much of what you're looking for (except for that detour to Mellow Mushroom - every foodie trip needs a little "lowbrow" now and then!)

Thanks so much Tracey3345 for your wonderful blog and photos! I definitely will be taking notes on where you dined and the drinks you consumed! It certainly looks like you knew exactly where to go. I even liked the detour to Mellow Mushroom!
Thanks again!

My trip reports from a few years ago:

Versailles was excellent in my experience. Don't remember how vegetarian friendly the place is, but chances are you'll find something. Also enjoyed the Vizcaya, very nice opulent style mansion.

Thanks Sassafrass regarding Wynwood ! We were there several years ago and looking forward to any new works. I checked out the arts festival, however, it will occur before we get there ( but appreciate the suggestion).
Still looking for fun ways to celebrate in and around South Beach folks!
