Help me find my dream drink

Hello all!
I am heading to Hawaii (Oahu, Maui and BI) for my honeymoon in June and I have a dream... My dream is to find a hawaiian drink that is in a pineapple or coconut and has more plastic junk, flowers and fruit in it than it has alcohol in the drink! I want to go to a bar/restaurant, plunk down a $20 and ask them to create this concoction for me. Anyone know where I can get away with such a thing?

It sounds like you want a virgin Pina Colada. You will get more true fruit taste than when they add the liquor, so if the liquor doesn't mean much to you, leave it out. As a bonus, they often double the amount of plastic in the virgin drinks. Maybe a plastic rainbow with a palm tree at the base and a hula dancer wiggling on top of the rainbow.

Hawaii05, may all your honeymoon dreams come true. But do you really dream of plastic? consider this very romantic fun: Plunk down $95 each (get a $30 discount each if you book it through Pleasant hawaiian with your package) for the Feast at Lele in Lahaina. for this price you'll enjoy all the gourmet food you ever wanted served in shells, all the mixed drinks you want...I had a drink similar to a pina colada, very pretty with strawberry swirled in it, with a little umbrella and a real orchid on top. also you'll enjoy a fun show, with dances from Hawaii, New Zealand, Tahiti, and Hawaii. Very romantic and memorable and both my husband and I really enjoyed ourselves.

The drink Melissa5 describes is a Lava Flow and they are my favorite - very yummy indeed. But they're not served in a pineapple. In fact I don't recall any being served - in Waikiki, anyway - in either pineapples or coconuts. But they all have plastic things and live flowers in them. The Tropical Itch even comes with a full size wooden backscratcher.

Had a delicious frozen drink in the Bahamas called a Wahoo. It was a pina colada, strawberry daquari and a mango daquari mixed. Delicious! I don't think there was much liquor in it. Just a tasty drink. I am sure you could get that filled with umbrellas.

Umm... you're kidding, right?

Is it that easy to blow $20 in Hawaii?

Ohh..Love that PC/MD/SD drink! Royal Caribbean layers them and calls them "Love Connections"...
Don't remember which Luau I went to, but was on Maui 5 years ago and I definately drank out of a pineapple the whole night.Made for some funny pics!

The standard drink that everyone refers to as a pina colada is not called the same thing in Hawaii, they're called chi chis, and they're made with vodka, not rum. Equally delicious.
