Help me choose...Muse or Omni Berkshire, NYC?

Hi everyone,
I have narrowed doen my hotel choices for a mid August NYC trip to these 2 hotels, both have similar rates. I am looking for nice rooms with comfortable beds and nice baths in a good location. It looks like the Omni probably has more spacious rooms, but comfort and location are really more important to me than size (unless there is a huge difference, of course). I have read the reviews and I am still torn. Any thoughts? Also trying to decide which would be more convenient for subway access. Thanks for your advice!

I prefer the Omni... the room I stayed in last time was larger than the rooms I saw at the Must.
Service at the Omni is great, too.

Omni, every time. It is a lovely hotel that doesn't get its share of convention business. This means that they really cater to the "sleeping rooms" customer. And it's well located.

If you're planning on going to the theater-particularly if you want to get tickets at the TKTS booth, the Muse will be more convenient. There are more reasonably priced restaurants near the Muse. Otherwise, I think the Omni has larger rooms/bathrooms, the location is less hectic and the service sounds better (on tripadvisor). Both have decent subway access.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I think I am leaning towards the Omni anyway. Any more thoughts?

Omni has an excellent location with good subway access. One block to Fifth Ave shopping and only a couple blocks to Rockefeller Center. Nice large rooms, excellent very friendly service. Only downside were thin walls - just hope that you have quiet neighbors.
