Will do Olana. Is Ausable Chasm a must do? How about Fort Ticonderoga & Saratoga?

I loved Ausable Chasm! We were on our way to Montreal a couple of summers ago and stopped there, spent a few hours. It is a good stop to break up the drive..and fun to walk around, or take a boat ride, which we didn't do.

Sorry-I forgot, we were in Saratoga last summer, during the races , the town is packed, the restaurants are packed, traffic, and unless you are watching the horse races, there is not much to do.We were disappointed, it was just a little too tourist trappy for us.

Thanks so much for the Saratoga post. When I was reading up on Saratoga, I couldn't understand why I would want to go there. Outside of racing, it didn't sound tempting. You've saved us a trip.
