Heading to AZ Saturday! Last Minute Ideas?
Flying to Tucson on Saturday (3/17) and can't wait! Weather looks nice and warm!
We'll have 2 full days to spend in Tucson. We'd like to see Saguro Canyon, Mount Lemmon, U of A, and maybe Kitt Peak. Is this too much? Also thinking about the Desert Museum.
We will then drive toward Globe and hope to see Biosphere. Is the tour worth it?
We will spend the night in Globe, then drive to Sedona. We'll have about 2 days in Sedona. Already have the Pink Jeep Broken Arrow tour booked. Any other ideas? We like light hiking, driving around and soaking up the scenery, and shopping (for me). Is a side trip to Jerome a must?
Any restaurant recommendations? Any cuisine, casual preferred.

It is warm - low 90's this week.
Saguaro Canyon - do you mean Sabino Canyon? If so, you could combine that with a trip up Mt. Lemmon (which, as of Saturday, still had snow on some of the trails at the top). They are sorta on the same side of town. At Sabino you can take a tram to the top and walk down if you like. The Desert Museum is well worth a visit. Plan to spend about half a day there, and I would suggest going in the morning rather than afternoon.
Haven't been to Biosphere 2 or Kitt Peak but would love to hear your thoughts if you go!

Just got back from Sedona and we always love eating lunch at the Yavapai Restaurant, Enchantment Resort..stunning views and the food is outstanding..dress is casual.
I would just pass through Jerome and have maybe have lunch at the Asylum at the Jerome Grand Hotel..
The hiking in Sedona is wonderful and not to be missed..love Boynton Canyon, Bell Rock..

It's worth going through Jerome if only to see its views of Sedona, but if you go that way you will have to miss Montezuma's Castle...trade-offs...sigh!
Are you aware (or even interested to know) that U of A houses the Ansel Adams Collection. You can find out all about it via Google. Don't know that you will have time to squeeze it in; trade-offs, again.
Enjoy!
