Hawaii or Rio for male single traveler
Hi, I just found this forum I would like to get some tips and suggestions...
I am 30 single guy and want to travel for a month... I would like some suggestions on travel to Rio or Hawaii next March, what would be best, I know both places have big differences.. But based on your experience what would you recommend.
I like sports, would like to surf, Hawaii would be best for it, scuba as well.. But also I like to see and meet nice girls as every guy does, perhaps Rio is best for that.
I've been checking renting a flat and in Hawaii is more expensive than Rio, I was wondering how cheap are both places, meals, drinks, nightlife.
I will be in Honolulu for a week before my holidays start, but was wondering if to stay there or fly somewhere else.. I would like to see the place and then decide, but then guess I would be difficult to find a reasonable price for a place to stay in a short notice. Flights are covered.
Also have to add, I'm not from the states, don't know if that would make any difference for both places.
Thanks

I posted on your other thread, about the medical waste in the waters off Rio, which they are trying to manage but admit they can't get out all the bacteria. That would keep me away from there, especially since you enjoy water sports. Google for the story.
Hawaii has so much to offer, you won't be disappointed. It may be more expensive, but there are certainly as many women there as anywhere.

Hawaii is a destination for many 'girls getaways' and graduation trips. I'd guess Maui and Kauai are popular for that. The OP can probably google for traveler stats from the state of Hawaii.
But, really, trying to pick the best place where you'll find "nice girls" might be a fool's quest.
