has anyone stayed at schraders windward marine resort?
I have posted before about the difficulty of finding accommodation (reasonably priced) for a family of five with a wheelchair. I have been told that this resort os more like cottage accommodation. Can anyone tell me what its like?

thanks island mom, guess thats out then, we won't be hiring a car. You mentioned a hotel before that had ugly rooms but you thought it was worth a try. We will need adjoining rooms, this is at the end of our trip and I really wanted something upmarket to top the trip off, guess its going to cost more than I thought.

Well, it's an old and ugly hotel - Queen Kapiolani, but has huge suite-like rooms with kitchens on some floors.
Did the new Aston not work? Or the Prince Kuhio? Did you try Priceline? Weren't many people getting the Waikiki Prince for low cost? That hotel is very beautiful.
